Your First Visit
Welcome to OC Oral Surgery! We look forward to seeing you in our office. The first visit is a great time to get to know our surgeon and staff and have your questions answered about your oral health needs. Throughout your treatment, we will send you personalized messages based on your care so you can have the right information at the right time.
What to Bring
We ask that you bring the following information with you to your consultation:
- Any referral forms and X-rays from your dentist
- The primary subscriber’s dental and medical insurance card and information
- A list of any medications you are currently taking
- Your current physician’s name, telephone number, and address
- Form of payment
Parents of Minors
All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the consultation visit.
What to Expect
During your first visit, you will meet with Dr. Ahn to evaluate your oral health, identify goals for treatment, and discuss all of your treatment options. If you do not already have 3D scans of your mouth and face, we will take these images and use them to design your care plan. It’s a good idea to write down all the questions you have beforehand so we can address them all during the consultation. In some cases, we can perform surgery on the same day as the consultation.
3D Imaging
Our office is equipped with advanced technology such as 3D scanning equipment and Piezo ultrasonic surgical instruments to provide patients with accurate diagnoses and better results.
Insurance & Financial Information
OC Oral Surgery is in-network with most major dental insurance PPOs and dental HMOs. Please remember that payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Dental insurance carriers have different coverages, maximums, and benefits depending on your plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly prior to your consultation to find out the details of your coverage. For your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment:
